I met with karliah in the cellar of the frozen hearth tavern, and the quest shifted to meeting her at the thieves guild.in this instance, she left the cellar, and the game progressed. The quest will not update unless this is done, so i am stuck on this until i find a way to resolve this.

Ahh one of the most notorious glitches in the game comes back to haunt me, but this time i can’t figure out how to fix it. Activate 4ec0b and the ramp should fall.

Thieves guild the pursuit bug! You will be back outside and you get the quest log update again stating you need to speak with karliah but she will be hostile with you. For stage 20, you must follow kahlia through the ragged flaggon and into the thieves guild proper.

This Glitch Is One I Encountered While Doing The Thieving Guild Questline.

Killing her, killing mercer, setstage to the next quest, resetai on mercer. Open it then open the false back panel to reveal a hidden passage. I'm sure everyone is aware of this one:
