So yes, even if you don't play male characters or whatever, they still need to have 4k textures for facegen to not bug out and you may have accidentally deleted a tint shared by both genders which will cause the issue. That fix is for people who downloaded bethesda's official high res texture dlc and then got the brown face glitch.

Then today, as i was starting a new game, the character i was creating suddenly became brown in the face as the rest of the head was not. In my 1 yr of playing fo4, no issue has been as hard to resolve as when brown face appears.

This Includes Skin, Brows, Freckles, Moles, Scars, Tattoos, Cosmetics, Dirt & Grime.

I dont know why this happend but it did i was just loading save games and it just hapend* fix* just load a different save and it should fix itself C:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\fallout 4\data) launch the game or your mod manager and enable the mod. Everything i can think of to try and fix this.

Yeah, me too have this weird problem, where face sometimes goes brown without any face makeups or tattoos, has to go to looksmenu and reload the preset, really annoying, i believe it’s looksmenu bug, dont know how to fix it.
